ISANG SIGLO, ISANG DEKADA - Culminating Day] The final day of the week-long celebration of SPI-CSPB's 110th Foundation Anniversary was indeed a day full of gratitude and joy, as seen in the faces and interactions of the all those present in the Alumni Homecoming.
Thanksgiving Mass took place with Rev. Fr. Domingo Salonga, School Rector, as main presider and Rev. Fr. John Michael dela Cruz as concelebrant. Following the Eucharistic Celebration is the program filled with fun, reminiscences, performances and surprises. Mr. Deydey dela Cruz, Mr. Ace Miranda and Mrs. Maria Theresa Alfonso hosted the event. Vocal and dance performances were given by selected students and teachers and a few batches even volunteered to share nostalgic presentations bringing them back to their school days. Former students and teachers who excelled in their respective fields and who dutifully and lovingly served our beloved Catholic institution for many years were given plaques of recognition and appreciation. Former students who have gone ahead of us were remembered during a special presentation. A commemorative tote bag printed with an artwork of internationally-renowned Paschalian artist, Mr. Aris Bagtas, containing generous goods courtesy of CSPB's very own Engr. Henry Alcantara, Chief of DPWH Bulacan DEO, both from Batch 1988, were distributed to those who attended the momentous occasion.
The success of this blessed and historic event was made possible through the effort and generosity of so many people, especially the members of the alumni who worked hard in the preparation, and much more by every SPI-CSPB alumni who came to show their love and support for their dear Alma Mater. Our heartfelt thanks to you and see you... in the next Alumni Homecoming.
